Some of our time was actually spent indoors...

If the kids had had their way, we would have been at the beach or the pool 100% of the time. However, we did have fun indoors too. Here is a little of what went on:

~The kids played a lot of board games; Cousin D taught chess strategies to Chloe, and the adults played quite a few games of cards late into the night. Chloe and Kievan are playing below.

We had a very special production of a play done by the kids.
The play, The Island of the Dolphins, was written by Chloe and performed by the cousins:

~Grandmother reading the part of Polly the narrator (see Polly in the tree?)



















~Lost at sea in a tiny boat (The two blondies, Allie and Tim, are dolphins in the water. Ben is a little dog named Nigel.)
















~ Ben got a lot of applause for his portrayal of Nigel, especially when he "woofed".
