Rebecca Walker and the "feminism experiment"

Rebecca Walker is the daughter of Alice Walker (author of The Color Purple and strident feminist). Rebecca has written a very interesting piece about growing up with her mother, how her mother's ideologies affected her childhood and thought processes, and what she thinks about feminism now.

Read it here. Interesting stuff!

Di, that article was awesome on so many levels. Thanks for sharing it. I passed it along to some of my Regent Law colleagues. She articulated so well the absolutely horrible effects of abortion on women that those of us in crisis pregnancy ministry know well. How brave she is. How her mother treated her when she dared make her own "choices" is a microcosm of how the whole movement will react. "Big Sister" feminism will do everything they can to silence her!
