Getting Ready for Autumn

Although autumn still seems quite a way off in our area, I've decided it's time for a change, indoors at least. Here is the silver water pitcher and tray I got at the garage sale last week with a few autumn flowers (1/2 price at Hobby Lobby- yay!). The tray isn't actually dusty the way it looks in the picture. I don't know why it looks like that.

* I would've waited until it was finished, but I'm not sure when I'll be able to borrow a camera again...

Autumn arrived here 3 days ago. The mornings have been in the 30s and 40s.

I really like the needle point cross Chloe is working on.
Fr. Brian keeps hinting at the women of the church making needle point kneelers like we found in England. Maybe we should start the monthly hand work meeting you suggested and make those.

And I like the silver water pitcher and tray.
