Last Day of the Month- Picture Bonanza!
Today it was in the high 70°s, unheard of for February in our area. But. . . we enjoyed it tremendously. It is also the reason for the many outfit changes you'll see in the pictures below, as the kids kept changing to cooler and cooler clothing.
The little valley next to our house is covered in jonquils.

Hiking next to the creek- Allie and Kievan also managed to pick up their own hitchhikers (again!)
Another sign of spring- just two days ago there were just the faintest threads of this plant visible (we scouted out plant food for the new little froggy the girls found- picts to come)

Kievan opted to have an outdoor tea-time today. Menu: chocolate cupcakes and milk. Poems- several from Treasure of Poems. *This week our 'special' tea day was moved to Tues, since Poppy made delicious cinnamon rolls for us on Monday.
